We are excited to announce that the NCI Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (CRCHD) will host a virtual Professional Development Workshop and Mentored Mock Review (PDW & MMR). The Workshop, titled "Transitioning to Independence: Charting Your Course to a Cancer Research Career," will consist of four half days of plenary sessions. The workshop will feature an authentic peer-review study section experience—a Mentored Mock Review session—led by an NIH/NCI Scientific Review Officer with invited postdocs and ESIs serving as reviewers.

This invitation-only workshop provides an opportunity to share information and experiences with recipients of CRCHD training awards and to assist with career development and advancement in cancer and cancer health disparities research.
