The International Cancer Screening Network (ICSN) Biennial Meeting is a two-day event convened by the U.S. National Cancer Institute and the UK's National Health Service Cancer Screening Programmes. The meeting will take place June 23–25, 2010, at St. Anne's College, Oxford, United Kingdom.

Meeting topics will include:

  • New Technologies and Comparative Effectiveness
  • Stoppage Rules in Older Populations
  • HPV Vaccination in Cervical Cancer Screening
  • Can Overdiagnosis and/or Overtreatment Be Reduced by Individualized Screening?
  • The Future of Cancer Screening: Prostate, Ovary, and Lung
  • Pre-Meeting Workshop: Validation of Biomarker Research Utilizing Cancer Screening Programs as a Resource

The ICSN (formerly the International Breast Cancer Screening Network) is a voluntary consortium of countries that have active population-based breast, colorectal and cervical cancer screening programs. The ICSN is dedicated to collaborative efforts aimed at understanding how to use and compare data from screening programs internationally and develop methods for evaluating the impact of population-based cancer screening programs.
