Poster Session


Guidelines for posters are as follows:

  • CNs are required to prepare Introductory Program Posters and Poster Summaries.

  • One 4' x 8' Poster display board will be available for each CN for Introductory Program Posters.

  • Requests for additional boards will not be honored.

  • Introductory Program Posters should include:
    • Project Title
    • Name and address of Grantee Institution
    • Abstract including geographic area(s) covered
    • Photo of the PI
    • Photo of each key staff member and brief description of their respective roles on the project
    • Listing of Community Partners
    • 50 copies of a summary of your poster on 8.5"x11" sheets of paper, for placement in folders that will be attached to the poster boards.

  • Participants may bring posters with them to the Summit or they may be sent to the hotel in advance of arrival, following the shipping instructions below.

Please address the label to the hotel at the address above, also including:

  • Your NAME
  • The name of the conference, CHD Summit 2005
  • The Event Manager's name, Chris Ayoub
  • The dates of the meeting, July 18-20, 2005
  • Final delivery destination, Grand Ballroom A-E by 7:30 a.m. on July 18

Please do not ship your materials to arrive more than 72 hours in advance of the meeting, as you will incur a storage charge for materials that must be stored longer than 72 hours.

Pick-up Instructions:

The Event Services department will ensure that your boxes and materials are brought to the Grand Ballroom by 7:30 a.m. on July 18.

Poster board set-up is currently scheduled for 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 18. Should this change, we will let you know.

If you have any other instructions for delivery of your boxes (e.g., if you need to locate your materials upon check-in on Sunday, July 17) please let Chris Ayoub know and he will ensure that it happens. His direct phone number is 301-822-9270, e-mail .
