This meeting is for CIS managers only and provides an opportunity to meet with Mary Anne Bright, Director of the Cancer Information Service. Location is to be determined. Please check back at a later date for further information.

Grant Writing Workshop:
This workshop, recommended for junior researchers, will delineate the grant writing process. Location is to be determined. Please check back at a later date for further information.

Grants Administration Workshop:
This workshop, recommended for project administrators, will explore topics specific to grant administration. Location is to be determined. Please check back at a later date for further information.

SBIR/STTR Workshop:
This is an orientation workshop to introduce the NIH/NCI Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs' website and application review process, and to provide promotional materials focused on specific research interests of the Center and of the NCI/NIH. The forms and instructions for submitting an application for SBIR/STTR award as well as Sample SBIR applications will be reviewed.

The aim is to foster and encourage participation of minority and disadvantaged researchers and businesses in technological innovation and commercialization of innovations resulting from federal research and development (R&D) in support of NIH/NCI mission to reduce cancer health disparities.
