Edward Partridge, M.D.

Edward E. Partridge, M.D., is Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He is Associate Director for Cancer Prevention and Control and Senior Scientist in the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center. He holds the Margaret Cameron Spain Chair in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Partridge received his medical degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. His postgraduate training included a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at UAB. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Gynecologic Oncology.

Dr. Partridge's research interests include perinvasive neoplasia of the cervix, ovarian cancer, and cancer prevention and control. He has written articles for Cancer, Oncology, and Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Partridge is a member of various professional organizations, including the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
