Katherine Briant, M.P.H., C.H.E.S.


Back

Katherine Briant joined the Pacific CIS as Partnership Program Manager in April 2003. Prior to relocating to the Pacific Northwest, she had been a Partnership Program Coordinator (PPC) for the New York CIS. Ms. Briant also received funding through Redes En Acción, an NCI SPN grantee. She is a bilingual Certified Health Education Specialist with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and carrying out cancer and clinical trials education programs for medically underserved populations.

Ms. Briant received her M.P.H. from City University of New York through the Community Health Education program at Hunter College. Prior to her joining CIS, she completed a 6-month internship with the Cancer Awareness Network for Immigrant Minority Populations (CANIMP), an NCI SPN grantee within the Center for Immigrant Health at the New York University School of Medicine.
